The Licensing of UPYOLIC SOFTWARE
(UPYOLOCK 2.0)

There is an explanation of licensing (activation) for UPYOLIC SOFTWARE which UPYOLOCK 2.0 technology is implemented as follows.

  • Koikoi Komachi X International v2.0.0 or later

(1) How to regist ‘Koikoi Komachi X INTL.’ License

Launch UPYOLIC SOFTWARE and open [License]-[Regist License Key (UPYOLOCK 2.0)] from application menu. The following example is on Koikoi Komachi X INTL.

Then following screen will appear. There are License Key field and E-mail address field as follows.

License key comprise 4 set of 5 digit number (0-9) as following format.

00000 00000 00000 00000

There is only numeric number, no "I", "O", "o", "l" in the license key. Please enter the correct license key (serial number) in the License Key field, there is not required to enter "- "(Hyphen) or " " (Space).

This is an example serial number for this explanation and will not be activated.

When the correct license key and e-mail address are entered, VALIDATE button will be activated.

Please push VALIDATE button for the activation. If valid license key is entered and license is valid, activation will be succeded. HTTPS protocol is used while the validation and HTTP proxy is not supported for the security reason.

(2) Understanding The License of ‘Koikoi Komachi X INTL.’

The license of ‘Koikoi Komachi X INTL.’ is required for each computer (Macintosh) that you play ‘Koikoi Komachi X INTL.’. If you have two computers, and you like to play Koikoi Komachi X INTL. on both computers, you have to get two licenses, not one.

For example, if you have one iMac and one iBook, and you like to play ‘Koikoi Komachi X INTL.’ on both computers, you need one license for iMac, also one for iBook, totally two license is needed.

If you change the computer, the license issued for your former computer is no more available. You need a new license for your new computer.

(3) About licensing architecture of 'Koikoi Komachi X INTL.'

The validation information will never change as far as you use the same machine, except you do a special conversion as changing the mother board. The Machine ID of 'Koikoi Komachi X INTL.'will never change by following conversions :

Memory expansion
Adding or changing hard drive
Adding or changing cd/dvd drive
Re-install Mac OS X or recovery
Upgrading Mac OS X
Upgrading CPU

About the upgrading of CPU, the Machine ID is supposed not to change because no process depends on CPU. (But it is not assured. Do it by your own risk.) 'Koikoi Komachi X INTL.' is only suitable for Mac OS X on Macintosh.

When Mac OS X is re-installed or factory reset is done, Koikoi Komachi X INTL. license is still valid and easily to activate again with same machine, you can use Koikoi Komachi X INTL. again.

(4) The Reissue of 'Koikoi Komachi X INTL.' license

We will never reissue the license key for any reason. The license key must be kept safe by yourself. If you lose the license key, we will not reissue it. If you change your mail address, you can use the license key based on your former mail address and user key. If you like to change the license key as the one based on your new mail address, you must buy the license again. We recommend Apple .Mac service because your mail address does not change when you change your internet service provider.

Exception

If your mac goes wrong by any reason, and the mother board is changed or you get a substitute mac, the user key will change. Only this case, we can support you under the following conditions.
Within 180 days since you bought 'Koikoi Komachi X INTL.'
Presentation of the service report issued by Apple Computer Inc.
If you fulfill the conditions, send e-mail to support@upyolic.com with

(1) your name
(2) your e-mail adress
(3) your license key
(4) the image copy of the service report issued by Apple Computer Inc.
(we do not support how to scan the document as an image)

We consider this exception as there is some technological risks as the Apple Computer Inc. introduces the innovational technology, for example the power module problem on G4 Cube.
